Teresa Schwab, LMSW, MCC
Teresa Schwab is a seasoned leadership and executive coach who brings a deep commitment to social justice and leadership development to her work. Growing up in a small town in rural Western Kansas, Teresa learned the value of community involvement and the importance of “showing up,” even when it’s difficult. After high school, she and her husband joined the Peace Corps, spending two transformative years in the Solomon Islands. These early experiences shaped her passion for making a difference, leading her to earn a Master’s Degree in Social Welfare and launch a career in policy and systems change.
Teresa discovered coaching while working with her own coach, an experience that inspired her to provide others with the same space for exploration, challenge, and growth. As a Master Certified Coach (MCC) through the International Coaching Federation, Teresa’s coaching expertise spans individual, group, team, and top-level organization coaching, as well as developing organizational coaching cultures to help them become more effective in their roles. She also teaches coaching skills to managers and future coaches, mentors fellow coaches, and facilitates leadership training.
Teresa is always looking ahead, challenging herself and her peers to push the boundaries of what coaching can achieve. She is certified in a variety of advanced coaching methodologies, including CoreStrengths SDI 2.0, Gallup CliftonStrengths, and she is Dare to Lead trained, bringing a creative, thoughtful approach to every coaching session.
